On average, six thousand Idahoans are diagnosed with cancer each year.  About one-quarter of them are diagnosed right here in eastern Idaho.  Now, thousands of eastern Idaho cancer survivors from Salmon to Blackfoot and Arco to Driggs, have another ally in their battle.

The Snake River Cancer Alliance - the SRCA -  is a newly formed 501 (c) 3  (non-profit) foundation based in Idaho Falls, Idaho.  The foundation is dedicated to serving the needs of local cancer survivors in Eastern Idaho.

SRCA will focus on four key areas of cancer support:

Physical, or medical needs, such as nutritional counseling;

Emotional needs, including support groups;

Practical needs, such as financial advice and help with
  accommodations during treatment far from home; and

Education, for patients and their families as well as for the community
  at large.

Welcome to Eastern Idaho's first and only non-profit foundation dedicated to serving the needs of local cancer survivors!
